The Small Business Administration has an office dedicated to women entrepreneurs - the finance department of women's entrepreneurship. Here is their website in the credit programs for women is http://www.sba.gov/womeninbusiness/wlend ...

It is difficult to scholarships, finding a company - including women and minorities to start. Contrary to the myths that some perpetuate, federal government and also do private foundations do not grant money for a non-profit company.

However, you can download the catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) and http://www.cfda.gov Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to ensure transparency and information on scholarships. Scroll through the list and see if you admit that a non-profit companies-would find support.

Even SBA does not grant. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/mostrequesteditems/CO ...

"It is the United States Small Business Administration provides grants to start or expand small businesses, but it offers a wide range of loansPrograms. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA offers several support programs are generally enhance the development and organizations that provide small businesses and technical or financial assistance. These grants generally support non-profit, credit intermediaries, and state and local governments.

Here is a list of federal resources for small businesses. See, if you are for people who are available to start a business - THERE IS NOT.

Able for private grants, you would like the Foundation Center Foundation grants to individuals online check http://gtionline.fdncenter.org. This is a web-based subscription ($ 9.95/month), but their propaganda says only that the opening of the database for "students, artists, academics is idealScientists, libraries and financial aid offices. "Entrepreneurs are apparently not one of them, so too is the view that it is a list of private foundations offer grants to entrepreneurs.
